Type III collagen is a vital component of human tissues such as skin, bone, and tendons; its content and structure are directly linked to skin elasticity, firmness, and tissue repair capabilities. In the field of medical aesthetics, recombinant collagen has become a core ingredient in anti-aging products due to its excellent biocompatibility and tissue-repairing properties.
Glycine theoretically accounts for approximately one-third of the composition of natural Type III collagen; consequently, the industry places great importance on the glycine content within recombinant collagen. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the amino acid composition and content of the recombinant humanized Type III collagen solution used in "Novi Orea"—based on a test report commissioned from Shanghai Tanshi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Report No.: SER20240177_R01)—to highlight the quality advantages of its recombinant collagen.
Excerpts from the test records are as follows:

The experimental results show that the measured glycine content in the recombinant humanized Type III collagen used in "Novi Orea" is 34.9%. This figure aligns with the theoretical design and closely matches the theoretical glycine proportion of approximately 33.3% found in natural collagen. This demonstrates that the excellent safety and efficacy of "Novi Orea" stem from the high degree of homology between the recombinant humanized Type III collagen it employs and natural collagen.
