The recombinant botulinum toxin developed for Yaohai Novagen Bio this time is through independent innovation, and has achieved a comprehensive breakthrough in molecular design and technology, achieving high expression, high purity and high activity, and has independent and complete intellectual property rights. The recombinant botulinum toxins under development include type A and type E. At present, the strain screening and drugability research of recombinant type A botulinum toxin have been successfully completed. Recombinant type A botulinum toxin with a purity of more than 97% and an activity of more than 2*107IU/mg has been obtained. We are promoting it into clinical research."
